Tree Plucker is a local "mechanized" tree removal company in WNY. It is the continuation of our family tree service Weimer Tree which has been serving Western New York for over 50 years and continues to do so. We welcome both large and small tree removal and trimming jobs as well as stump grinding. We are among the pioneers in the USA to use a crane and grapple saw. This radio controlled mechanism is the safest, with excellent control. Other than our 90' crane, we have a 72' spider lift on rubber tracks which can fit through a 36" wide gate to access tight areas with minimal ground impact, and allows us to avoid climbing trees as much as possible. Our mini skidsteer has the widest 10" rubber tracks in its category.

Review Overview

Tree Plucker in West Seneca is a standout choice for homeowners facing complex removals or trims on challenging residential lots. The service excels for properties where space is at a premium, access is restricted, or trees sit close to structures, utilities, or landscaped features. Large removals, high-branching specimens, or jobs that require careful rope work and specialized equipment can be handled with confidence. Budget-minded clients will find fair, transparent pricing and responsive quoting, while urgent needs, such as after a windstorm or when a dead tree threatens property, often receive prompt scheduling and fast execution. In short, this outfit is best for households with a mix of difficulty and urgency who still expect professional results without overpaying.

Safety stands at the top of Tree Plucker’s operating priorities, and that emphasis shows in every phase of the job. Review after review highlights state-of-the-art equipment and meticulous planning, enabling work without collateral damage to lawns, ornamental plantings, or nearby fences. The fleet includes modern aerial access and ground support that minimizes disruption, and several clients note how work proceeds near power lines, houses, or pools with a level of caution that reduces risk to people and property. Even in tight or restricted spaces, the crew demonstrates a disciplined approach, protecting landscaping with mats, carefully roping branches, and coordinating climbs so that a “Widow Maker” scenario becomes a solvable, safe operation rather than a reckless rush to finish.

Cleanup and site restoration are consistently cited as a defining strength. The crew doesn’t simply drop a tree and leave; they grind stumps, mulch or remove debris, and restore the yard to a near-pristine state. Multiple reviews mention thorough clearing, precise wood disposition, and even post-work touches like clearing dust from neighboring driveways or winding up seasonal lights. The methodical approach to debris control, whether through chipper use, mulching, or hauling away, translates into neighborhoods where you wouldn’t know a tree came down except for the absence of it. For property owners near decorative plantings or fragile lawns, this reliability on cleanup is every bit as important as the cutting itself.

Communication and reliability are consistently solid, with Greg and his crew earning praise for responsiveness, clarity, and professional demeanor. The company regularly responds quickly to inquiries, offers upfront written estimates, and sticks to scheduled windows, sometimes squeezing in an earlier opening when a slot becomes available. A number of reviews single out the owner’s accessibility and willingness to explain the plan, troubleshoot access challenges, and coordinate with neighboring properties or driveways. That steady communication translates into lower stress for clients who are juggling busy schedules or tight project timelines.

There is a clear caveat worth heeding. One persistent negative review centers on an incident where trees bordering a property were removed without explicit authorization, prompting a one-star rating and legitimate concern about scope control and boundary checks. That instance stands out as an exception in a sea of overwhelmingly positive feedback. The practical takeaway is straightforward: establish and document a precise scope of work, confirm property boundaries and approvals in writing, and insist on a clear change-order process if any neighboring or border trees might be touched. Tree Plucker’s strength lies in careful execution and transparent pricing; sidestep misunderstandings by locking in scope before work begins and by maintaining a written line of communication about any adjacent trees or requested alternatives.

Overall, Tree Plucker is the go-to option for homeowners with sizable removals or tricky trims who demand safety-first, cleanup-focused execution and fair pricing. Those with structures, pools, gardens, or tight backyards will benefit from the company’s combination of advanced equipment, rope-based control when space is limited, and a demonstrated track record of minimal lawn disruption. It’s an especially strong fit for properties that require rapid response after damage or storms, given the responsiveness and willingness to mobilize quickly. While the outlier incident in the reviews cautions about strict adherence to scope and consent, the balance of evidence shows a team that brings professionalism, precise execution, and dependable cleanup to every job. In choosing Tree Plucker, a homeowner trades speculation for a practical partnership: capable hands, clear communication, and a demonstrable commitment to keeping the yard intact while removing danger and eye-catching debris from the property.
